Thermoplastic powder coating

The method provides superior protection and durability in comparison to liquid coating when it comes to abrasion chemicals, impact resistance and UV resistance. We use Plascoat PPA for this type of coating, among others.

Thermoplastic powder coating is a method where heat (thermal) is used to melt plastic powder on metal, to create a long-term and environmentally friendly corrosion protection. The process is thermal, which means that here are no paint solvents used, and therefore it does not affect the external environment.

Our thermoplastic system "MM ThermoCoat" lives up to the C5-M corrosion class in accordance with ISO 12944. Independent test reports from accredited test institutes about application on blasted steel and hot-dip galvanized steel are available.
